Who are Ukulele Lessons for?

The ukulele is for everyone! The perfect starter instrument or new instrument for the more experienced musician. These lessons are targeted for young musicians in elementary and middle school who are beginner or novice musicians as well as for students with disabilities who might not have access to music education opportunities through more traditional pathways.

What will we Learn?

All ukulele students will learn the basics of playing the ukulele including finger picking, strumming, reading chord charts, tuning, and more. From there, each student will help determine their goals and what they want to be able to do and learn on the ukulele.

Why the Ukulele?

For many, the ukulele is the end goal, while for others, the ukulele is a stepping stone on the journey towards other musical pursuits. Regardless of your reason, the ukulele is the perfect gateway to your own musical development. It’s small size, ease of playability, and forgiving nature make it the perfect instrument for young students to learn and play.
